Overview

The heavy-duty apron feeder developed by Chentai Equipment is a heavy-duty, low-speed, sturdy and durable conveying equipment. It uses a circularly rotating metal chain plate as a bearing surface to evenly and continuously feed materials from the silo to downstream equipment (such as a crusher). Its core advantage is that it can withstand the impact and wear of large, sharp or high-temperature materials. It is a "workhorse" in the mining, building materials, metallurgy and other industries.

Working Principle

Among the operating components of the heavy duty apron feeder, the conveyor trough is connected to the traction chain and the load-bearing mechanism respectively. The motor and reducer drive the head sprocket with a toothed structure to rotate, so that the traction chain meshed with the sprocket pulls the conveyor trough containing the material forward. The traction chain travels on the supporting wheels, and the supporting wheels hold the conveyor trough and bear the weight of the materials and running components. The weight of the entire machine is borne by a frame with a certain strength and rigidity, and is transmitted to the foundation through the frame. The materials are pushed down from the storage bin located above the tail into the conveyor trough, and then run forward with the conveyor trough to the chute opening of the head cover for discharge.

• Impact Resistant — The support structure of the chain and trough plate adopts a combined roller support structure of rollers and supporting wheels, which has high stiffness, impact resistance, and low running resistance. The material receiving section is equipped with a buffer device, which can slow down the impact of materials on the trough plate and extend the service life of the trough plate.
• Extend Life — The tail tensioning device is equipped with a spring device and a sliding bearing seat, which can slow down the impact load of the chain and extend the service life of the chain.
